JohninDC Posted June 16, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Anyone stay at any decent, inexpensive hotels that have shuttles to get you to Port of Miami? Please do not let the offer of a "free" shuttle convince you to stay at a hotel you will not be happy with. Cabs are relatively cheap in Miami ($24+tip from MIA to POM) and many hotels offer shuttle service for about $10 per passenger. Hotel prices in Miami vary widely with the season and tourist demand. What's your range for inexpensive? Are you arriving at MIA or FLL? Arriving late or early? Want to be downtown near POM? Comfortable using Priceline? Give us some more info and the board members will try to help you.
Bigleafsfanwife Posted July 21, 2010 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2010 We are staying at the Embassy Suites Miami. Includes shuttle from the airport to the hotel, managers reception (free cocktails), king bed, balcony, hot breakfast and for $10 pp a shuttle to the port. Cost was $134.00. My TA recommended La Quinta which included continental breakfast, and shuttles for $80.00. Hope that helps! :D
