I hope all is ok as she is down to 8.2 knots now... I hope nothing is broken! Let's just hope she is cruising along slowly - she is still sailing away from port so let's hope they are just chilling! :)

She has made a U turn indeed and looks to be heading back to Southampton. Although she is going a bit faster now heading up to 11.5 knots. Maybe they are not risking her too much ahead of the transatlantic! :)

Looks like she will pass the Crown Princess as she has just left Southampton, I'll be heading for the Ryde webcam again!

I'm sorry I missed all the fun this morning. :( I had to go to the dentist and then a luncheon. Drat, should have thought about the Epic leaving 6 months ago when I booked the appointment! :p Hey, but no cavities for myself or my son! Whoo hoo!

My plan is to watch the TA without interruption. We'll see how that plan comes together. My MIL is going to have a stent put in tomorrow and my FIL called and asked if I could sit with her part if the day in case he gets tired. Of course I told him I would. Good DIL points even if I have to miss out on the departure. I'm sure this fantastic group will keep me posted. I'll have my phone and try to watch on it! Now that's being a NESS! :D

She's just going around in a big circle. Right now the time is 9:12PM UK time so there's no way she'll be coming back into Southampton and risk losing all the casino revenue!! :) Looks like the problem was fixed earlier at least because she went faster than she did the whole way from Rotterdam to Southhampton. :D

I'm afraid it won't come together very well at all. The Marine Traffic site only shows ships when they're relatively close to coastlines. There is no mid-ocean coverage.

Oh bummer...well, I'll watch what I can from both sides of the pond.

If someone tries to intervene, we will start another thread. :D

Here is how the Epic looked as she passed the Ryde webcam on her return to Southampton about 20 minutes ago.

That is beautiful.

It's been an interesting day watching her act drunk on the live ships view.

s what I get for letting him stay up longer! Thank you for getting this shot. I hope to see the TA departure.

Hello fellow NESSers! I'm out of town on a slow hotel connection, but had to check in. What did I miss? :) I see she's been doing pretty loops around the English Channel

Yes, lots of loop de loops...making us NESSers go loop de loop! :D
