CruiserMom2096 Posted July 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2010 I've vacationed many times on Grand Cayman and I've never heard of Tiki Beach! Does anyone know where it is? Nevermind, I found some info on it. It is on the north end of 7MB. Looks interesting, I may check it out when vacationing there in a couple of weeks! runner15km Posted August 15, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 15, 2010 Its a new name for the Marriott Courtyard beach club. They rehab the facility, here are some older pics. If you do not like it, SeaGrape Beach is just a few hundred yards down the beach. http://www.zydecocruiser.com/gc/courtyard_mar_05.htm

I was under the impression that it's the new facility owned by the same folks that used to own the Beach Club Colony, which has been torn down to put up more condos... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1184808 I still haven't had time to stop in and check the place out, but it looks nice from a drive-by... drew sailbum Posted August 15, 2010 #10 Share Posted August 15, 2010 Tiki Beach is definitely new construction. It is immediately adjacent to the old Marriot by Courtyard beach site. The Gecko Bar (old Courtyard by Marriott beach facility) has fallen into disrepair and is a bit of a blight.
