The folks across from you can see EVERYTHING. Any other comments? - I upgraded at the last minute for my 2 daughters (18 & 21) to this room. Since no one had booked it that needed the handicapped room, they put it in the "pool." It is a very nice oversized room with a big bathroom. Lots of sitting area (see pics). The girls enjoyed watching the occasional drunk walk through the promenade at all hours. Not much of a window - but you do have one! Quiet. Good amount of storage, especially for a family of 4. Slept 4 with mom and dad in queen bed and kids in sofa pulled out. We watched several shows form the balcony. Also a starboard cabin overlooks the dock so in ports you see the port rather than the open sea. Also can watch folks coming and leaving the ship. It is aft of the aft elevators to there is very little extra traffic. It is also a quick elevator ride up to Deck 16 to the Windjammer for a snack. I would highly recommend this cabin. And yes, you do hear the thrusters when docking in the morning but it only lasts a few minutes usually and you can go back to sleep. It slants sharply at the very front but is more than ample to store suitcases, clothes or whatever doesn't fit in regular storage. This is NOT a balcony room; this cabin however, is one of 16 newly created Panoramic Oceanview rooms on decks 7 and 8. They were designed when the ship went into drydock in December 2012, are the same size as the balcony cabins on the same deck, and extend to the full length where the balcony would be. Windows are nearly floor to ceiling, and the view is spectacular. Balcony Size?
