FCC Use question for single holders

OK ... so I've used FCCs multiple times with DH and I; however, this is a bit of a different situation.

My mom is currently holding a single FCC. When she uses it, can her second passenger also pay the $100 and get the credit? In this case, the second passenger would be me, and although I currently have a FCC available, it is part of a pair with DH.

So I guess my question is, do FCC "stick" with individual Princess accounts or does it go with the pair?

In the same way, one of my sisters currently has a FCC with her husband. Her husband won't be going on the trip, but my other sister who does NOT currently have a FCC will be travelling with her. Does she have to use her two (i.e. "borrow from her husband") or can she just use her FCC and get my sister in on the "deal" by paying the additional $100.

It was sure a LOT easier when we didn't do these "girls" cruises!

FCC's go with the person named on them. You might be able to get the $100 deposit by sailing with your mother, but no OBC. You say theat you have one that "is part of a pair with DH". You could use yours to sail with your mother and buy another on the cruise to use with DH. Of course, you could not book a cruise with your DH until you were on the first cruise.

Thanks Paul. So in the case of my two sisters, the one can use her FCC if she'd like so she can get the credit, but the other will just have to "bite the bullet".

DH and I are scheduled to cruise before this other cruise, so it will be a short time that I would be without the FCC.

yup.

We always keep a couple of extra FCC for DW & I just in case a cruise breaks out. :)

Up until a few months ago, the 2nd person in the cabin would be able to book for $100 as well as a down payment. That is no longer true. Princess tightened the FCC program so that the FCC may be used only for the person holding the FCC. Anyone else must use either their own FCC or pay the full deposit.

My suggestion is to find a TA who is offering a deposit "special." There are some that do from time-to-time.
