dileep Posted June 4, 2012 #1626 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Love those colours - thanks for sharing. Where did you find all these lovely creatures? Took those at a beach on the ocean in Seattle during a very low tide. The crabs are getting ready to mate! a longer video should be online soon at

Debathome Posted June 4, 2012 #1629 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Dileep, those are some interesting critters. I've been to plenty of beaches and have never seen an array of colour and hidden treasures like that before. Fabulous pics. Sharod, loved the affect on the photos. Great pics. Ravi, beautiful bird shots, as usual. The bottom one is my favorite, it looks like an artists rendition.
T-Rox! Posted June 8, 2012 #1630 Share Posted June 8, 2012 Took those at a beach on the ocean in Seattle during a very low tide. The crabs are getting ready to mate! a longer video should be online soon at Dileep, I've been enjoying your beautiful photos and am hoping you me be able to help me with a little advice, since you are in Seattle. We have a 9 hour layover at the Seattle Airport flying home from our Alaskan cruise. I am an avid amateur photographer and would love to spend some time trying to get some shots during our layover. Any advice on how to spend 9 hours and still get back to the airport in time for our continuing long day of flying en route back to Mississippi? sparky-elpaso Posted June 10, 2012 #1636 Share Posted June 10, 2012 I love dragonflies. Unfortunately the ones we have in Texas aren't particularly attractive - no pretty colors.

sharod Posted June 10, 2012 #1640 Share Posted June 10, 2012 I love dragonflies. Unfortunately the ones we have in Texas aren't particularly attractive - no pretty colors. This is one of the prettiest dragonfly's that I have seen here. Wow! Now that's a close-up! I was sitting about 10 feet away. He sat for a LONG time on my hummingbird decoration that sits beside my koi pond/water garden. What kind of lens do I need to take pictures like this? Just my Canon SX40HS. It's what I do all my shooting with.

Rare pierces Posted June 13, 2012 Author #1644 Share Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) Pisa Italy. You may want to check the warranty on your lens....there is some pretty serious keystone distortion in the picture and it looks worse on the right side! On the serious side, nice shot of a nice place! Victress2007 Posted June 14, 2012 #1648 Share Posted June 14, 2012 Venice is one of my favorite cities, I could spend a week there taking pictures. The light wasn't great when we went to Murano, but I do love their glass. How in the world would you ever get this home in 1 piece? Vic
Debathome Posted June 14, 2012 #1649 Share Posted June 14, 2012 I just love this shot. It almost looks like a painting. Andrea Thank you, it was taken through a double decker trolley window. :o Dave, thanks, I saw a guy with tools as we left so it may be fixed by now. :p Beautiful Murano glass shots. I was wondering the same thing recently at people buying the glass show designs on our Celebrity cruise. They were not delivered home to them, I saw people walking off the ship with them wrapped up. Sparky, great shot of the eagle. They are such a majestic bird. They were closed but someone left the door open. ;) These are two of my travel gal pals having a look around. A Barbary Ape of Gibraltar, looking quite relaxed and all handsome...
