Ashpalo Posted June 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2010 Is it just me, or are the posts showing up out of order on several threads today? Just trying to figure out if I am having a problem with my system. Thanks, Ashley :)
Administrators Rare LauraS Posted June 30, 2010 Administrators #2 Share Posted June 30, 2010 Yes, it appears they are. I saw it myself a few moments ago (wish I could find it again to show our tech team). Laura
arush5268d Posted June 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2010 This has been mentioned several tims recently. It has to do with a server upgrade for Cruise Critic - and the new software uses your computers time as the time for the post. Since not all computers have their time in sync...some posts appear out of order. - from what Mach mentioned.

welldone60 Posted June 30, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 30, 2010 There is one thread where two answers are ahead of the OP question.
Ashpalo Posted June 30, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted June 30, 2010 Yes, it appears they are. I saw it myself a few moments ago (wish I could find it again to show our tech team). Laura I know that the "Inside Cabins" thread has an answer before the OPs question. I saw it on a few others, but can't remember which ones. Thanks, Ashley :)
Cristallo Posted June 30, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 30, 2010 From my understanding it has to do with cc using our computers time stamp vs. theirs. So if someone's computer's time is fast you'll see posts out of order.
hard_eight Posted June 30, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 30, 2010 Sounds like someone missed a checkbox. This is the only message board I've seen this on. Even using this same software.

MrPete Posted June 30, 2010 #12 Share Posted June 30, 2010 It's actually been happening for weeks. It is taking the local time of my PC when I see it is out of order. 6:

Just trying to figure out if I am having a problem with my system. Thanks, Ashley :) I'm glad it's not just me who is noticing this because I thought something was wrong with my settings...LOL! I was looking everywhere in my CP to see if I had somehow changed something by mistake :)
flyawayca Posted June 30, 2010 #14 Share Posted June 30, 2010 This server upgrade might also explain why I got a notice saying Congratulations on your 20,000 post!! I don't think I am quite there yet  But maybe one day!
