Igd Posted July 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Sorry, we are new to Seabourn. My husband and I would like to take our 10th anniversary on the Nov 6th sailing, but we wonder about the weather them. Can anyone give us some thoughts? We are considering between Nov 6th or Oct 9th sailing, which would you recommend if I do not like cold weather?
condor Posted July 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2010 October is beautiful in the Med. Usually, mild with lots of sun but rainy days do happen. I would vote for Oct. 9 cruise. Enjoy
wripro Posted July 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2010 Definitely the October sailing. Weather should be lovely then whereas in November it's much more iffy.

cands Posted July 3, 2010 #7 Share Posted July 3, 2010 We spent 3 weeks on Spirit in the Med starting Oct 25. The first two weeks the weather was fantastic - mild to warm days and cool nights. The third week we had some rainy and cold days! Definitely choose the October sailing. Cheers, Steve.
Igd Posted July 3, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted July 3, 2010 Acturally we selected the Oct sailing, just started to work with TA on details. See, your comments and answers did help and we actually listen!!!
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 3, 2010 #9 Share Posted July 3, 2010 As most posters have said I would go with the early October sailing. We think October and April are the best times to cruise the Med. While late October/early Novemember could be OK it could also be quite cooler and rainy in certain ports of call. The odds are much better for October for nice weather. And there will be far less tourists than in the summer months. Keith
