Yes, you can use OBC for just about anything on the ship. I think there may be some exceptions for the casino, but otherwise if you put it on your sea pass you can use OBC to pay for it.

You can't spend your ON-BOARD credit until you're ON the ship...but the credit is applied toward your balance....so essentially, anything you charge to your account can be paid with the OBC.

If you are withdrawing money against an OBC from a price reduction, you can go directly to Guest Relations and eliminate the 3% service charge.

Yes, absolutely, just be sure to fill out the form to have your gratuities added to your onboard account once onboard. If you PRE-PAY gratuities before you get onboard, then no. But ANYTHING you purchase onboard, including gratuities added to your account, will be charged against your OBC.

If you have an RCI Visa that is the credit card on file, any OBC refunded back will result in the loss of double points.
