Trivia question

Recommended Posts

There are three places on the Oasis where you MUST use real money. Your Sea Pass will not be accepted. Credit cards will not do. Can you name them?

1. Bandaid etc dispenser in infirmary

2. Slot machines

3. Getting into MTD ahead of everyone else.

:D :D :D :D

PrincesScuba got one. There is a machine on the wall in the medical area on deck 2 that dispenses headache meds, upset stomach meds, etc. You need two US quarters for each envelope of meds. Your other two guesses are wrong.

Is there a wishing well of some sort on the ship? A sea pass would not work there, nor would a credit card.

Possibly an old fashioned gumball machine somewhere on the boardwalk?

I am thinking this has to be coins and not bills.

Sorry. Trying to keep up here.

Spanner14 - I had to check with my wife before I responded, as I thought maybe I had overlooked something in the ladies rooms, but no, none of yours are right.

Bobal, I didn't see that. If it is there, then there are four things you need cash for. Can you confirm that?

I can't confirm it - I just wondered whether that was one of the things on your list :)

OK, it is time for dinner, so I will give up the answers.

PrincesScuba got the one in the medical department. The other two are on Boardwalk.

One is the Zoltar The Fortune Teller machine. It is a replica of the one in the movie BIG with Tom Hanks.

The other is the old timie Picture Taking Machine like the ones you used to see on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City and other places. Maybe you have to be from Philadelphia or New Jersey to appreciate this. You also have to be past a certain age to remember them.

Actually, there is one more. The machine in the casino where you drop in the quarters and it supposedly pushes the other quarters towards the slot and hopefully the quarters or even the paper money drops out. That only takes quarters.
