Drunks in Casino

Yo Eleven

Recommended Posts

Well, when I first saw this thread http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1231835

I thought it was titled as such and was about drunks in the casino. LOL!

I was about to share some stories and see if there were any other out there. Therefore, I decided to start an interesting spinoff thread.

I was on one cruise for a week and there was this guy who always was drinking and clearly intoxicated. The things that came from his mouth you would just laugh. You couldn't understand anything he said. But, he did know how to place the bets on the table. He had help from the dealers and since he was so funny, the other players got his back as well. He was there the first five nights of the cruise. We all nicknamed "Authur" and called him that. He didn't care. He was entertaining just like the actor. He was betting lots of money and played every night until he lets say messed his pants right there at the craps table. Oh crap (no pun intended). That was the end of his session for the night.

Never saw the guy again on the cruise. I do wonder whatever happened to "Authur?" I have other stories as well but, thought I would start with this one. :D

OK, I got one for you.

First night of our Glory cruise and I am hitting the slots just checking out the casino, When this little lady who was clearly intoxicated is staring at the slot machine next to me and starts asking questions on how to play how to use S&S card etc. typical newbie stuff.

I kept suggesting that she get a casino host to help her as I clearly don't want to get involved with handling someone elses transactions. She is persistent and I am getting the feeling of getting set up.

She then says that she wants me to set her pin number for her and I told her that she needed someone she trusted. She asked "Why? are you trustworthy" and I told her you don't know me.

And got the heck out of there..

(That's when I ran into the cruise craps gang.)

Anyways, on the last night of the cruise, we are at dinner at a table for 8 and lo and behold this lady and her husband show up at our table for the first time of the cruise.

They were our tablemates from the beginning and newlyweds, so they had not been getting out of the cabin much...

I was on a cruise a few years ago and there five people at the BJ table. Me and 2 couples...all of whom didn't know one another. Both of the couples were clearly drunk...almost slurring, which made the table quite entertaining for me.

I don't remember what exactly started it, but both of the girls at the table started to yell at one another. After hearing a few s-words, the next thing I know, a girl fight breaks out. It was complete with swearing, hair pulling and slapping. The dealer didn't know what to do, the pit bosses just watched and I was trying to find Jello or pudding that could be placed on the ground to ensure a soft landing. They went at it for a while (3 -4 minutes), with their b/fs just staring...not sure if they wanted to get into a fight to protect their significant other. Eventually huge bouncers emerged from the casino cage. It was weird - I had never seen them on the floor before - they looked like a sheik's body guards - and they eventually broke it up (prior to me finding any jello).

I think most people were shocked. I was, of course, trying to find another table that was exciting as this one... :)

The usual format of these threads is the various posts try to outdo each other in their stories. Can't do that here. LOL!
