Docking in Vienna

Does anyone remember which U-Bahn subway stop is closest to where we dock? I know it varies but it will give me an idea if you tell me where you docked. I find it helps to get around when we can study the subway map ahead of time.

When your ship is docking at Handelskai then Mexikoplatz is the closest subway station.

 

When your ship is docking at Nussdorf then there´s only a bus stop which gets you to a tram (or you walk 15 to 20 min). No subway there.

Thankyou, Steamboats. Handelskai and Mexikoplatz seem pretty far out. Too bad they couldn't dock on the Danube Canal closer to the center of town. At any rate, let's hope there is a decent cafe close to the pier for a late night Viennese coffee and pastry!

It´s only 4 stops to the downtown area. It looks way farther but it isn´t.
