Advise For buying snacks, water etc in Rome before the cruise?

My wife and I will be taking the Celebrity Holy Land cruise in September. Our flight lands in Rome and we then transfer to our ship that departs later that day. We would like to pick-up some snacks and bottled water, soda, etc for our cruise. Any suggestions where we might shop before getting on the ship? Thanks....Mike:)

This question really belonged on the Italy board. There is a grocery store that is about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the entrance to the pier. Best bet if you have a lot to buy might be to negotate with a cab to take you there, wait for you and then take you back to the entrance where you would take a shuttle over to the ship.

Thank-you. Our first stop is in Naples, and I figure we will see a place to shop as we wander around there also....

You're going on a cruise- and you need to buy snacks??? Really? I thought they had so much food on board - free- that I wouldn't need anything else!:D

With a couple days in Egypt, we will be trying to be careful as to what we eat. The snacks and bottled water will be a little extra to keep us going between meals....

Yes, you will see plenty of shops as you walk around Naples as well to purchase snacks and drinks.
