Cancellation notification

Recommended Posts

 Reading some of these threads are beginning to make me nervous. When RCCL cancels a cruise to accomodate large groups, how much notice prior to the cruise date do they commonly give?

Statistically speaking, you are probably safe. A nine night cruise is MUCH less likely to be chartered.

Most full charters are booked at least 6 months out since they have to plan on both sides. I think most complaints I've seen on here have been closer to a year which gives plenty of time to book something else or another time. And I've only seen it happen once or twice in the last 5 years so it's not that common. I know, it stinks after spending time picking a particular date and cruise.

We had our Carnival Pride cruise for this Nov cancelled in July, but that was for a change in drydock to 3 months earlier. Not happy, but very happily turned around and booked on Explorer instead.:D
