Any suggestions for day in Miami?

My two friends and I are flying in to Miami a day before our cruise leaves.

 

Anyone have ideas for things to do?

I would go visit South Beach. It is fun to walk around there and to people watch and you could have lunch or dinner there.

We ar thinking about getting a room at the Clay in that area for that very reason. Because we have no knowlege of the city I appreciate any suggestions folks can offet to make our stay over day the most enjoyable.

There's now a bus from MIA directly to Miami Beach, it's called the Airport Flyer and it's only $2.35 each way.

 

Check out the Sagamore, it's right near Lincoln Rd which is my favorite area for shopping, dining and just walking around in general.
