Anyone know of a reliable taxi service in Ocho Rios? We want to go to Beaches Boscobel and are concerned w/ safety.

Anyone know of a reliable taxi service in Ocho Rios? We want to go to Beaches Boscobel and are concerned w/ safety.

 

 

If you need to call for a taxi, contact the official carrier: Jamaica Union of Travelers Association or JUTA (876-974-2292 in Ocho Rios).Make sure the taxi is JUTA certified and has a red license plate. Agree on a set price for the trip before heading out and don't be afraid to make the driver know to drive safely. A small gratuity is expected of course upon completion of your trip.

Be sure to negotiate a round trip.

 

Personally, I would only do the ships tours though.
