Balcony Question - Emerald

Do the balconies on the Emerald have sliding glass doors or doors that open to the balcony. If it opens does it open to the inside or the outside. Thanks, Joyce

Appreciate the quick response. HAL has doors that open and while we have sailed Princess many times we haven't had a balcony.

And if you want to lock it into a certain position turn the handle down (locked position) to hold it there.

Just a heads-up that some (if not all) of the Princess ships have an interlock switch on the balcony doors that turns off the cabin a/c whenever the balcony doors are open. We are not positive if this feature is on the Emerald.

I have never seen an AC cutoff switch on the balcony door.

It is on other lines but not Princess.
