Re: Barcelona City Tour

Most folks forgo the private city tours in Barcelona and opt for the Hop On Hop Off bus instead. With some preparation on your part this is an inexpensive practical way to see the city. Barcelona is also one of Europe"s very fun walkable cities.:)

Another vote for the HoHo bus. There are two competing organizations, one larger with three circular routes and more buses, the other a bit smaller with one route, but hitting all the hot spots. It's possible to pre-book a voucher on line. We were not aware there were two companies and booked the smaller one, but we were not disappointed.

You can do a Google search on "Barcelona hoho". The larger organization is BusTuristic with a website here. If it comes up in Catalonian or Spanish, there is a tiny drop-down box in the upper left hand corner where you can select English. The site has routes, fares, etc., and an opportunity to save 10% by booking online.
