Superstitions

So with all the chat about sucker games, bets, etc going on I got to thinking, what is your casino superstition?

Some people will take their bets down after a shooter throws the dice off the table etc.

Me personally, I bet double on the first hand of a shoe in blackjack, and when the waiter/waitress brings me a fresh drink.

Anyone else out there superstitious?

I will call my bets off for the next 3 rolls after any or all of the following occur:

"Same dice" called after the dice go off the table.

Change of stickman (happens every 15 or 20 minutes depending on casino).

3 or more "horn numbers" are called in a row, or after a 12 then 11.

My wife shows up at the table.

When the field numbers are hitting a lot more than usual I place a black on the field then parlay it if it hits. If I can get six straight field rolls( disounting the 2 or 12), I'm over the table max(usuallly $5000), take the $1400 and let the $5000 ride until it loses. Most I've ever experiened is 11 straight field rolls($26,400 profit on a $100 bet) and several of 9 and 10. One time when i was doing this the shooter hit 2,12,2 the first 3 rolls, only took 4 rolls to max out. A rare occurence but a rush and very profitable when it happens.

I always place my drink and ashtray to my left and my pocketbook to my right when I am sitting at a VP machine...... didn't think about it being superstitious but I guess it probably is!! LOL :p

I just thought of another one, if I am on a hot streak at bj I will continue to signal with the same hand. If on a cold streak I will switch hands, same with 3 card poker, always pick up the cards with the same hand unless im cold.

Get your facts straight. I never said anything about sneeking booze aboard( CC, NCL wine corckage thread). I said they don't screen your bags very good in Seattle when it's crowded ( making the point anything could have been in my carry on,which was leftovers from my 3 days in Seattle), not a word about sneeking booze aboard.). And as for making $5000 field bets, It's only when I use this system and it's a fact, not a claim. You go figure and you might have an intelligent post before your next sarcastic remark?

I am sorry for your hurt feelings but I thought it was funny that you are talking about making $5K field bets and bringing on board in your luggage "a 12 pack of cans & 4 24OZ Pepsi's".

NO hurt feelings here. Like i said in my post, what I carried on was leftover from what I bought for my 3 day stay in Seattle. What should I have done with it? throw it away.
