Why No Shore Excursions??

Our cruise is 111 days away. I went to the princess cruise personalizer and it still says that shore excursions are not available. I thought we could book up to 120 days in advance. Anyone know what the problem might be?:confused:

My Star Princess cruise had excursions available only 60 days in advance. It varies a lot with Princess.

I have been register w/ the Regal Princess for about two weeks now for our cruise on June 7th.

MTaylor; most of the time is 60 days out for excursions, but once in a gret while it does go between 70 to 120 days. You just never know with Princess.

For the Coral, we were able to see our tours on the 90th day. Wow was it fun!

We had the same thing on our cruise, it just opened up shore excursions at 98 days out, still waiting for week 2 to open up :)

Shore excursions don't become available until Princess has the excursion schedules at the ports of call all lined up. Sometimes there are problems with the ports (no fault of Princess) so the cruise lines do not list excursions until all ports are definite. Better to do it this way than to offer trips and then have to change or alter. You know how passengers gripe about that. As you can see, this varies from cruise to cruise.
