14 night soda card price?

Recommended Posts

Not for nothing but if you can afford 14 days on RCI then $96 should be too much of an issue.

i never said i couldn't afford it or had a problem with paying for it...?

i never went on a 14 day and was asking for the price so i can budget correctly and know how much points to redeem... and no i can't afford a 14 day cruise. my family is paying for 80% of it as a christmas, birthday and belated graduation present to me.

$96 is still $96 regardless if i or someone else can afford a 14 day cruise. just like $1 is still $1...

thanks everyone above for clarifying!

I do! I just wish we had done the 9 day rather than the 5 day. DH thought the kids would be bored. Did a 7 last year and they were by the end. But that one was Carnival. Couldnt convince him. In addition, this was a group cruise with Autism on the Seas. Our youngest has autism and they are a great group to cruise with if you have family members with autism. It was worth if for us.

But sure as we do, we will CRAVE soda and be throwing money left and right for cans. Consider just a soda for lunch and dinner, or one or two while gambling, sitting around at the Promenade Cafe, refilling your Soda card cup before heading down the pier to port, late night or early morning refresher..we always crumple and yield to temptation on a vacation  so purchasing the Soda Card happens on every cruise outside the Windjammer before we eat or drink our first meal onboard. Besides, I'm from the deep South, love iced tea, and it would normally be our "drink of choice" but that's just one of the few things we HATE on the cruise. Their iced tea is just the worst. Sadly, McDonald's has killer iced tea ...why can't RCCL do good iced tea?

I love McDonald's coffee. I haven't tried their iced tea. Will have to give it a try. I always found the coffee on the ship horrible. I wasnt thrilled with the specialty coffee either. Carnival has good coffee so I know it can be done.

you stole the words right out of my mouth. this is exactly how i feel. when i get the soda card, i use it a lot esp in the casino when i'm sitting at the black jack table or playing craps. it's nice to have options besides lemonade and iced tea to drink. i agree the iced tea they have sucks! i don't like it either. i'll drink it occasionally, but that's about it.

i think i'll be getting the card.

I don't drink alcohol, coffee or tea. The lemonade is ok. I drink water, soda and juices. $6+ a day is cheaper than one drink of the day sometimes. I like to be able to get a soda whenever and whereever I am on the ship and not run back to the room. For me it is worth the price.

We even started buying the water. Our soda and water bill is cheaper than some bar bills.

I know that with the soda card you can get coke, diet coke, sprite and diet sprit. But what kind of juice can you get with the soda card?

It is strictly a FOUNTAIN SODA card.

"On the gun" they have: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and club soda/carbonated water. That's it. Sometimes you will find a bartender who will give you a can of something, but you can't plan on it.

I've never had a problem getting ginger ale when I've asked for it.
