VilleFrance to Monaco #100 Bus

Here's another format of the schedule for #100 from the same website, which gives exact times for Villefranche. (The Octroi stop is the one in VF).

You can change the direction and the date in the section "Journey Date & Options", and look at earlier or later times by using the links just above the orange bar that says, "Timetable for Line 100". Also, there are links to google maps for each stop in the 'map' column.

When it comes to the #100 you are wise not to even worry about the schedule. The buses do run at least 3 times an hour (and sometimes more often) and traffic will often have them somewhat off schedule. Its just a matter of getting to the bus stop and grabbing the next bus.

Thanks everyone for your help. Hank, could you tell me how to go from the tender area to the #100 bus? Is the Sunday schedule different? Is the Casino open in MonteCarlo on Sunday?

It is difficult to describe exact directions to one of the bus stops (the bus stops in about 5 locations within Villefranche) but you need to walk inland from the water (uphilll) until you reach one of the main streets called Ave Princess Grace which changes to Avenue Albert Ter (this all happens within the town). There should be others heading the same direction and you should also not be afraid to ask a local (or duck into a shop) for directions (English is pretty widely understood). Or you could use lousy French and say, Bonjour, pardon, Ou est La Bus (or Autobus) a Monte Carlo? They would laugh at this French and probably take you by the hand to the nearest bus stop :) Despite what you might hear on some forums, the French in the south are very friiendly. As to the Casino (you would not get me into that place if you pushed) is certainly open by around 2 PM and they will happily take your 10 Euros as long as you meet their dress code. Since there are no serious gamblers in this Casino during the daytime (other then cruise folks and a few other tourists) we think the dress code thing is a joke. I do appologize for being a bit flippant but for us, Monte Carlo is a place we try to quickly escape, especially on Sundays when just about everything in the city is closed.
