FF Newbie

This is the first time we'll be using FF miles to NY from Florida for N/E Canada cruise on Sept. 25th. If the flight is cancelled because of a hurricane, does the airline let you transfer to another flight or do full paying passengers have priority?

FF tickets are not "free", you earned them. You don't name your airline, but they should be rebooked the same as a regular ticket.

I have had missed connections/cancelled flights on FF tickets, and always was treated as any other ticketed customer when being re-routed.

If the flight is cancelled because of a hurricane, it's more than likely that the flight you want to get transferred to will be cancelled as well. The domino effect of that means a LOT of other people all trying to get rebooked onto a limited number of available seats whenever flights resume. If that happens, good luck.
