David:

With the bad weather coming to the Carolinas, I was afraid you might not make the entry tonight. However, you were "Johnny on the Spot." I hope you are far enough away from the Sea so that you don't feel the brunt of Hurricane Edgar.

All the Best!

It is now 6:59 AM in Alaska and the Amsterdam is just pulling in to Juneau. She is a bit early. I hope she is just as early when arriving in Vicotria on Sunday morning. Then ist will be on to Seattle. I think she has one more "two-weeker" after this!

Hello Himself,

Yes, we were far enough away from the storm. We are around 210 miles west of Hatteras. We just got a few sprinkles and clouds most the day and night. I thought we would get some wind around 20-30 knots but did not even get that. I think it stayed farther East than they planned for which I am very glad.......Do not like those storms at all!!!

David

Thanks for asking!
