Has anyone ever had a handicap inside cabin on the Oasis of the Seas? We are sailing in Oct and we are in cabin 6149. Wondering what the cabins are like? If anyone has any first hand experience we would appreciate hearing about it.:)

Inside HC cabins are anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 times the size of a standard inside cabin.

  • There will be sufficient floor base to use a wheelchair or scooter in the room
  • The bathroom will not have a step up as a standard cabin, You'll be able to roll a wheelchair into the bathroom as well as into the shower if needed.
  • The bathroom has a phone, built in shower seat, adjustable shower head that you can hold in your hands, grab bars in the shower and around the toilet.
  • The toilet is usually higher than a standard cabin toilet.
  • The closet has a pull down pole to be reach when from a wheelchair or scooter.
  • The bathroom and entry door to the cabin are least 32" wide.
  • Depending on the cabin you will have either a sofa or chair for extra seating.

Hope this gives you a general idea of the cabin.
