Disembarkation

We are sailing Eurodam in January, this is our first trip on HAL although we've sailed on Princess, Royal, and Carnival previously.

My question is, does HAL allow all passengers to stay in their staterooms until they disembark?

That is one of the nice things about HAL -- being to stay in your cabin until it is your turn to disembark.

Unless there is a problem -- HAL uses the silent disembarkation -- you will get a letter the day before indicating the time that you can leave the ship. So -- for example -- if you are assigned a 9 AM time -- you can anytime after 9 AM.

If we are doing a 14 day cruise on a ship that does two back-to-back 7 day cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale, do we have to disembark and re-go through security? Can our DD, who is only doing the first leg, stay in our cabin with us past her time to disembark?

This is being answered by a number of posters on your other thread.
