missmlt Posted September 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2010 We are sailing Eurodam in January, this is our first trip on HAL although we've sailed on Princess, Royal, and Carnival previously. My question is, does HAL allow all passengers to stay in their staterooms until they disembark?
sail7seas Posted September 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2010 Yes. You can stay in your cabin and enjoy your room service breakfast if you wish. Hope you have a great cruise.
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2010 That is one of the nice things about HAL -- being to stay in your cabin until it is your turn to disembark. Unless there is a problem -- HAL uses the silent disembarkation -- you will get a letter the day before indicating the time that you can leave the ship. So -- for example -- if you are assigned a 9 AM time -- you can anytime after 9 AM.
Rare kazu Posted September 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2010 I love the silent disembarkation. HAL figures people know how to read or listen to the lecture. Plus you don't have to wait in a lounge for forever. enjoy your cruise :):)
bzv143 Posted September 12, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2010 If we are doing a 14 day cruise on a ship that does two back-to-back 7 day cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale, do we have to disembark and re-go through security? Can our DD, who is only doing the first leg, stay in our cabin with us past her time to disembark?
