Brancine Posted September 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2010 If you book directly through Princess and then find a lower price on another website can you transfer the booking, or would you have to cancel and rebook?
Colo Cruiser Posted September 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2010 If you book directly through Princess and then find a lower price on another website can you transfer the booking, or would you have to cancel and rebook? A short note faxed to Princess with your booking number and a sentence saying you would like the XXXX agency to take over your booking. ;)
Temporarily Retired Posted September 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2010 If you book directly through Princess and then find a lower price on another website can you transfer the booking, or would you have to cancel and rebook? Basically, you have 2 options! You can write them and tell them your transferring to T/A.Or,you can cancel, and simply let T/A rebook!End result is the same. cdngrl Posted September 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2010 my ta contacted princess and the booking was transfered that way. it seemed strange princess would do it without my saying anything, but then again it was hassle-free on my end! bozemanman Posted September 13, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2010 If you have not yet paid in full...all above posters options apply. If you HAVE paid in full, even before final payment is due (if you are like me and have saved ahead of time and want to get it over with)...then you must cancel and re-book, which is not hard at all, I have done it and only takes about 15 minutes. jagoffee Posted September 13, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2010 I did this before final payment and it was easy. If I had to cancel and rebook I would be slightly worried about getting the same cabin. Isn't losing your cabin a risk if you cancel and rebook. sabookkeeper Posted September 14, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 14, 2010 We did this for our cruise in February 2011. The TA sent us a form to sign. We returned it to her and then she looked after contacting Princess. We didn't want to lose the cabin we originally booked and she said it wasn't a problem transfering it.
