Carnival Liberty across from elevators?

We had 7411 on the Liberty-= Best location on the ship for us- two decks up for food- two decks down for entertainment-- located right by the aft elevator- (the cabin next door was 40 more pp.

These cabins are not directly across the hall- elevators are in their own bank.

where exactly are you looking to book? what deck- forward/aft or midship?

thanks for the information. I am looking at 3 cabins on the Empress deck 7410,7414 and 7418. I believe one or two of those sleep 3 and we only need cabins for two so those may not be an option. They are aft which location wise is great. Our second choice is on the upper deck by the elevators 6270,6272 and 6274. I just want to make sure it isn't too noisy. But then you can plan and do your best and still have loud neighbors. It is all good anyway.

Thanks kris

Its just a wall- Some people quite a long time ago said it was an ice machine and a soda machine. But according to the steward there was never an ice machine there. Its a storage for the fire wall.

Are you sailing with kids -- is that why the three cabins next to each other?

We are sailing with 6 adult kids 30-40. I may give up on the whole being next to each other idea. There are too many cabins that have triple or quad accomodations and we will only have two in a cabin so those are out. I found 3 cabins together on the upper deck behind the forward elevators 6270-6276. They look like they are over the shops so that might be a good location. It will be more of a walk to the pools but heck, I know I will need the excercise:DThanks for your interest and your advice. Kris

Well, for adults being together really is not that big of a deal.

For one-- you wont all fit in one cabin for get togethers-- and you most definitly will not all fit on one balcony. and having balconies all opened up you will give up a lot of your privacy.

You can meet up in the public areas, eetc.

You want to be careful on the upper deck-- not being over a stage area of any lounge-- the rest of the area is ok. Becareful over the promanade deck above the casino bar.

sailing on carnival victory late Oct. thru Nov 2010 ...Balcony stateroom in the 6300 range upper deck . Is that over any entertainment area noise? Or should we not care and just go and enjoy the Music down stairs??:)

Is this carnival victory out of San Juan? Is there cabins left in that category for a sailing that is only weeks away?

Please be advise that there are mnay lounges on this ship right below the Upper deck. getting a cabin over the seating area is not a problem. you want to avoid being over a stage area. Avoid across from the Casino bar.

This ship plays music into the wee hours of the morning.

Please consider going up one more deck to the empress
