Water Package

Has anyone ever purchased the water package? Besides alcoholic drinks, my fiance and I drink lots of H20. Would anyone advise against the water package? If we purchase will we be able to bring the water on our excursions and to the islands?

The water on the ship is fine...I'd advise against paying for water when you don't have to!

If you do buy the package and feel you need to take water ashore, you certainly can. Many just bring their own bottle, fill it on the ship, and take that, if they need water.

You can ask any bartender or eating venue for ice water...not a big deal.

Remember that they also sell water on the way off the ship. Normally there is someone there with cold water. If not, you can also get bottled water in the ports as well. We have never purchased the water package but have gotten water at the last minute.

If I didn't bring my own case of water with me, I would just purchase water on the islands rather than get the water package. It's expensive (Evian) and the large bottles might be a pain to carry around.

We usually buy the water package. We know it's expensive. We know ship's water is fine for drinking. But we do it for the conveinence.

 

The Evian water is a 1 litre bottle.

we buy the water packages- husband is on chemo and hydration is important- if the water is there in the room he will drink it- this way i can keep track of his intake- it is expensive but the convience is nice- i order it ahead of time and it is in the cabin waiting for us
