mycruz Posted September 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2010 We are planning on taking a spring break cruise with the grandkids next March on the Ruby. This is probably the one time I'm hoping there will be enough kids on the cruise to make the childrens activities fun for them. I've been on several Princess cruise with so few children that there wasn't much going on. Can anyone share with me what your children's or grandchildren's experience as well as your own has been with Princess kids program? Thanks! Scrapchick Posted September 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2010 You should have no trouble with kids on board over spring vacation... The only thing to bear in mind is that schools have vacation at different times over the spring holiday, and for different lengths of time. However, for the period including Good Friday and Easter Sunday there should be 100-200 kids on board of varying ages, if not more. I doubt there will be less on board that that. Princess kids programs are great!
mic123 Posted September 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2010 Not sure of your dates, but my Mom, my daughter (7), and I are booked on the Ruby over spring break (3/27). I'm sure there will be plenty of kids :)

DrivesLikeMario Posted September 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2010 We went every spring break with our sons for many years in a row. There are so many kids and so much to do, your grandkids will be amazed. Make sure they go to the registration the first night. It's really important that they go then so you can fill out forms for them and they can meet friends. My sons especially enjoyed Candy Bar Bingo, Casino Night, Connect Four Tournaments and the Scavenger Hunts.
AnnieE Posted November 21, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2010 Not sure of your dates, but my Mom, my daughter (7), and I are booked on the Ruby over spring break (3/27). I'm sure there will be plenty of kids :) I just booked 2 connecting balcony cabins for myself, 2 daughters AND my grandaughter who will be 6 years & 1 week. Will celebrate her BD on board. Not a Seattle spring break week. Princess res said 100 kids booked to date. Said there will be lots more!:) She likes for us to participate in the mini club with her. That wasn't possible 2 years ago on RCL. So we like the option of child going independently or with one of us.:)
