augusta78 Posted September 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2010 With a 4 year old and 20 month old we go through a lot of milk. Is it included or extra on the cruise? When I called Carnival they said they weren't sure.
FloridaGators Posted September 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2010 There is plenty of milk and it's free. On Lido deck they have the little cartons of whole milk, 2% milk, and chocolate. They also have soy if you request it. In the dining room they bring it by the glass. And you can order from room service.

blindrid Posted September 17, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2010 they should train their representatives a little better.:D Or better yet maybe the rep ought to take a cruise and find out some of the more trivial stuff.
Tbay-eh Posted September 17, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2010 Its included. Both white and chocolate. Grab a bunch off the Buffet and stick them in your mini-fridge. Or order them from room service. Only take as many as you are going to use within a short period of time as the fridge is just a glorified cooler - it is not a true fridge and just keeps things cool but not cold. Maybe put them in a small soft sided cooler with ice in it in the fridge if they like cold milk
elcuchio24 Posted September 17, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2010 Or better yet maybe the rep ought to take a cruise and find out some of the more trivial stuff. How many times have you heard things from PVP's or cust service agents that you knew weren't right just from cruising so much? I think it's funny. But hey, probably allot of these folks have never actually BEEN on a cruise!

When I called Carnival they said they weren't sure. The reps are never sure about so many things. Anyway I drink lots of milk and order extra from room service and keep the cartons in the cabin fridge. I have never had a problem with it staying cold enough. Honeyroastedmelnut Posted September 17, 2010 #13 Share Posted September 17, 2010 I ordered it every night at dinner :) Great to see that I'm not the only one! I still love milk with dinner ... especially with pasta for some reason!
KCTravel Posted September 17, 2010 #14 Share Posted September 17, 2010 Yes, skim is offered. The cookie monster stopped at the Lido deck each night to get his two cartons of milk which he placed in the ice bucket in our room. He usually picked up a cookie or two as well for later! Fun, Fun 44 Posted September 18, 2010 #15 Share Posted September 18, 2010 We order a bucket of ice (white tub like buckets of beer come in)from room service and keep a few little cartons of milk on ice all the time. Aways cold and ready to go. :) Plenty of milk! Kat
salty dingo Posted September 18, 2010 #16 Share Posted September 18, 2010 I would recommend camel milk, but it is not offered on Carnival. If you are ever cruising in Dubai, do ask for it!
dan40 Posted September 18, 2010 #17 Share Posted September 18, 2010 I would recommend camel milk, but it is not offered on Carnival. If you are ever cruising in Dubai, do ask for it! I learned in Southeast Asia that fresh raw green coconut milk is a powerful laxitive. All the troops, but me, got a big laugh out of that.
lillian marie Posted September 18, 2010 #18 Share Posted September 18, 2010 My 3 yr. old drinks lots of milk too. On a cruise in May I just asked for milk on the Lido deck when milk was not offered and they always got it for me at no up charge. You can also order milk through room service anytime of day or night. On the spirit they had whole, 2 % and skim milk available.
andismom Posted September 18, 2010 #19 Share Posted September 18, 2010 In the past we would stop by the dinning room on the way back to our cabin for the night - which late seating was going on - and ask the hostess for milk to take back to the room. They were always happy to provide it.
salty dingo Posted September 18, 2010 #20 Share Posted September 18, 2010 I was out in the desert and the arabs had to shoo the baby camel away from the mom so we could get our taste. It was good! And I don't even like milk and never have!
debee1015 Posted September 18, 2010 #21 Share Posted September 18, 2010 A co worker of mine won't touch the chocolate melting cake, but every night at dinner in the MDR he gets Chocolate Chip cookies & milk.
