First time cruiser and getting married

HI,

I'm going to be going on Carnival Liberty for my first cruise with my fiance and 7 year old daughter. We are getting married hopefully at St Thomas while at port in April 2011. Looks like we will have a big bunch of family and friends going with us.

So far the Carnival wedding planners haven't been too much help. Any advice or us?

to the honeymoon and wedding cruise board (on this site) where there are lots of people who either are planning their weddings, or who have done so, and who could offer tips!

If you're going to have 18 or more people, have a wedding group created and work with either a TA or a Carnival agent to book into your group. There may be group prices depending on ship and itinerary. The wedding department only does the wedding portion. You need a reservation person for your group.

Have a back-up plan in place, just in case you have to miss that port, or they rearrange the itinerary....yes..it CAN happen!
