Liquor store near Ft Lauderdale Sheraton Beach Hotel

The last time I sailed out of Ft Lauterdale and came in the day we sailed, I ordered my wine on line from Total Wine and picked it up on my way to the ship. The cab made a quick stop and Total Wine and we were in and out in no time. It worked like a charm. That may work for you if you are not near a liquor store before your cruise.

I think the distance from the hotel to Total Wine is closer to 3 miles. My wife and I have done this walk several times. The bus and the trolley (on weekends) are other options for making this short trip. We usually arrive in town 2 days early and this is one of our stops the day before the cruise.

Do Walgreens in FL sell beer and or wine?

YES!

gingera-the #40 bus will take you to the corner of 17th & Cordova. If you go about a half block north you find Crown Liquor & a Winn Dixie. If you go a block south you will find Total Wine & a Publix. If you are there on the weekend, you can take the Sun Trolley directly to the Publix. Both Crown and Total will deliver on orders over $200. They will also have orders made up and ready to go.

Total Wine has a great selection (Spirits & beer too) and pretty good prices.

I agree, I much prefer Total Wine over Crown and as others have mentioned, if you order ahead they will have your order waiting for you and you will save cab fares going back and forth to your hotel.:)

Do they not sell liquor as well in FLL? Walgreens in Key West sells liquor, beer and wine.

And yes not until noon on Sundays.

Mike:)

Most Walgreens's have a Walgreen's liquor store next door that sells liquor, beer, and wine. If there is no liquor store they sell beer and wine in the regular Walgreen's.
