Oceanview guaranty and changing dining times

Just booked an I oceanview stateroom guaranty for a 7 night western Caribbean aboard the Liberty sailing on Jan 16th 2011 through my TA, hoping that we'll get an upgrade since we're both C&A. Does anyone know the likelihood of it actually happening. She was able to get us each $100 in obc, free specialty dining, and that sad passport to savings booklet :rolleyes:.

 

Also, she said late dining was full. Has anyone had success changing their dining time, either pre-cruise or once aboard?

We have been able to change dining times on several cruises. Just get witht he dining staff as soon as you get on the ship.

 

As for the upgrade, I have heard of them, but never have been lucky. Did get upgraded to the presidential suite in vegas last week.

There are so many C&A folks, upgrades for that is rare. However, you could get something for booking a gty...actually, you're more likely to be upgraded for booking a gty than for being a "frequent" cruiser!
