Kimmie36 Posted October 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2010 We all know that cruises are known for the abundant amounts of food. I thought it would be nice to see pictures of anything edible from your RCCL cruise such as Snacks, Desserts, Drinks, meals at Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, buffets etc.... Can’t wait to drool over the pics:)!

BUSTER BROWN MAN Posted October 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 8, 2010 We sailed FOS January 2010 and the food was unimpressive. I was really disappointed. It seems the cruise lines want you to pay extra to get the same quality food they offered in the past. Why not just charge a little more and keep the quality up? lowbass Posted October 9, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2010 We sailed FOS January 2010 and the food was unimpressive. I was really disappointed. It seems the cruise lines want you to pay extra to get the same quality food they offered in the past. Why not just charge a little more and keep the quality up? The reason they won't do this is because there are a lot of cruisers out there like me who have no idea of the food quality of the past. And these cruisers think that the food is good enough for the price they pay so why should they be forced to pay more for something they don't think they want or need? I have never paid extra for food on a cruise, but if the quality has gone down since I last cruised with RCCL, then I may have to jump ships:rolleyes:

d4nigirl Posted May 2, 2011 #12 Share Posted May 2, 2011 Our plates from the first day at the Windjammer. One of the Curry dishes in the MDR. The escargot in the MDR (my absolute favorite!). A strawberry dessert. We thought the look of it was interesting.

Lunch Windjammer by BrytEydBelle04, Coconut Ranger from the Promenade cafe...highly recommend! Coconut Ranger by BrytEydBelle04, Orange Chocolate Parfait, MDR...night they appeared to have a newer menu. I was skeptical about the dessert, but it was good. BrytEydBelle Posted June 5, 2011 #17 Share Posted June 5, 2011 Surf and turf in the MDR. Everything in it is good, but it is worth ordering just for the wasabit mashed potatoes. I normally never eat mashed potatoes, but I tried for the wasabi and devoured them (while leaving half the beef). Surf & Turf Banana Cream Pie: Made with kahlua, this was the best dessert I had in the MDR. BrytEydBelle04, Banana Creme Pie by BrytEydBelle04 Strawberry bisque...I am a picky eater and didn't think I'd like it, but it was quite good. BrytEydBelle Posted June 5, 2011 #18 Share Posted June 5, 2011 Warm chocolate cake...ok (since chocolate can never be bad), but not what I was expecting. Warm Chocolate Cake by BrytEydBelle04 Shrimp and Mahi Tempura. My favorite meal in the MDR, last night there. Tempura by BrytEydBelle04, Exquisite Trio: The chocolate portion is amazing! The rest I left but the richness of the chocolate is more than enough dessert. Exquisite Trio by BrytEydBelle04
