Vaccinations

This may be a dumb question, but we will be in Costa Rica, Columbia, and Panama on an upcoming cruise do you need any vaccinations prior to going to any of these countries or since the timeframe is so short they are not needed?

Thank you for any help!

As mentioned none are required. If you will be visiting their on a cruise ship and eating on the ship you should be OK. I'd apply a good layer of mosquito repellent when going ashore and if you will be spending time on deck while docked to reduce your risk of dengue and malaria.

If you will actually spend time in a foreign country other than northern Europe exploring and eating the local foods I always recommend; Measles/Mumps/Rubella, diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus, Hep A, Hep B and yellow fever. As a precaution also talk to your doctor about getting a round of Cipro to keep in your travel kit along with the usual Imodium, Band-Aid's and sunburn lotion.
