Hi everyone - I have some questions regarding the Coral and I know that I can count on you to fill me in!

 

1. When was the Coral last in drydock?

2. Does anyone know the cost of using the Sanctuary?

3. I am looking at a mini on the dolphin deck D616 to D623, will they be covered or not and are they the standard 9 x 7 size?

4. How hot will it be in the Panama the beginning of October?

The Coral was in dry dock Oct. 9-23, 2009.

Panama is extremely hot. MId 90's and tons of humidity.

If you try to lie out in the sun in Panama, you will feel like you are being microwaved! I did.:cool: That idea lasted less than 10 minutes. That being said, It is a great cruise.

Hot and Humid in March but I only fainted from the heat on Cartagena jail tour:eek:. Take a ship's tour as they seemed to have lined up all the AC busses in the land. This is an absolutely beautiful cruise and the Coral is such a great ship. Be sure to go out the forward doors for at least one lock --great viewpoint. I also just loved the rear deck that runs all the way across the Coral. I called it the "back porch" and it was just a great place to watch the wake and the world go by. Sun and shade there. I did some whale watching on the back porch with the binoculars. Have a great time!

$10 per half-day ($20/day).

 

Can usually purchase entire cruise at a rate of $15/day.

The day of the canal transit seemed to be the only time that I saw anyone in the Sanctuary. I am sure it was more expensive on that day.

Really no better view than on the "back porch" decks.
