Traveling with 11 month old ...want to see Atlantis. Anyone done this excursion on your on? Afraid to get tied down to a set schedule?

You can walk off the ship and get a cab for about $l0.00.

Unless you are planning to use the beach/pool, you don't need an excursion at all. You can wander Atlantis' shops, casino (well, not with a child!) and restaurants at will....

We've gone 3 times, taken a taxi and went to Atlantis to walk through the aquarium (free). It's a beautiful place whether you're there through the day or night!

You can no longer view the aquarium for free, except for late night, after the dinner service is over.

 

Security is at the TOP of the stairs checking these days. Day and evening hours.

 

As mentioned, you can't bring a child into the casino, which is one of the main attractions.

the aquarium is not free, it's $39 for an adult, sorry don't know the price for a child
