You'll be getting off the tenders in downtown George Town unless there are rough seas, so plenty of dinning options within easy walking distance. Here is info on many of the options, use the map function to see where they are located:

Great, thanks.......so the shops in Georgetown are within walking distance too?

Everything is right there. It's pretty small.

Not sure if you're shopping for anything specific, but Grand Cayman is very expensive (just got back from a week there). If you are looking for something specific, you may want to look at other ports, as you may get a better deal.

Have fun!

Yup...I've passed it as you walk through downtown, along the waterfront. I think it's in the Bayshore Mall building, maybe? It's very close to the port area, in any case.

another way to slice the bread

You won't find all the standard island crap in Cayman - well yes you can I guess. You might find a deal on a Rolex tho . . .

IF you know your watches and your prices.

Point is Cayman has places with high end merchandise ... but that is in no way a promise that you'll find a good deal.

You will not find lane after lane of t-shirts and carvings tho. You'll find lane after lane of Rolex and LLardo . . .

some rum. Totuga is really Appleton made in Jamaica. As for lunch, we like Guy Harvey a few blocks to the right of where the tender comes in. It's upsatirs across the street from his store. Very good lunch and the prices were fair. I've been there 3 times.
