Captain's Club Magazine - New Issue !

Hi Everyone !

 

I wanted to let everyone know that a NEW Issue of the Celebrity Captain's Club Magazine arrived in the mail today. It is the Spring 2004 Edition.

 

The Magazine has a much needed, updated look to it. In my opinion, Celebrity did an OUTSTANDING job in this issue. It is great to see such a big effort made. I enjoyed reading it very much !

 

It also has a foldout of the itineraries for the Celebrity Fleet, for the rest of 2004.

 

For those interested in Coupons, there are 2 in this issue. One is for $ 150 off an Outside Cabin, for selected 9-11 night sailings. The second coupon is for $ 125 off an Outside cabin mainly for several 7 night sailings. There are many dates listed on the Coupons. As always, the discount is per Cabin, not per person.

 

Again, Congrats to Celebrity on an Excellent update to the Captain's Club Magazine !

Basket Lady...the 10/15 Summit is included in the sailings with a coupon for $150 per stateroom (outside or better).

It seems like it has been forever. Anything on the 11/20 and 11/27/04 Constellation cruises? The 11/27 cruise has dropped from Celebrity's site but, some of us are already booked on it. Considering that few have posted on our roll call I am a bit concerned.

Yes, the Constellation is listed on the 125.00 Coupon for sailing dates 11/6/04 - 12/11/04, so you should be in luck ! Always check with Captain's Club to be certain.

Yes Captains Club is now free, but you cannot join until you have completed 1 sailing on Celebrity. You should fill out an application while you are onboard. You can get an application at the Guest Relations Desk.

Is there a discount for the 9 Day Zenith sailing on 10/23? I just booked it today.

If I heard correctly, which I'm sure I am correct, the reservations need to be booked BETWEEN, yes I said between, certain dates. Doesn't use a BOOK BY date on this issue. My guess is that its going to stay like this, correct me if I'm wrong on this. which I'm confident you will if I am.

Unless something has changed, Celebrity has routinely accepted Capt Club coupons for applicable sailing dates that were booked outside of the stated booking period on the coupon based on what I have read on these boards and based on my personal experiences.

 

In 2001 we were able to apply a CC coupon for our past Infinity cruise in which we had booked the cruise way before the applicable booking period on the coupon. When I talked to the Capt Club about applying the coupon back then, they said that they were in the process of loosening up on the booking period restriction.

 

Similarly a few months ago we booked a 10 night Horizon cruise out of Tampa for Mar 2005 and the Capt Club has told me that I should be able to apply a future CC coupon when it finally does come out. I am sure that Celebrity certainly does not want to penalize people who book early.

 

Earlier this year we were able to apply a CC coupon for a Zenith Bermuda cruise for a booking made after the stated booking period printed on the coupon.
