rockymo Posted October 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2010 I booked two cabins on the Crown at BG cat. and have rec'd a cabin assignment on one but not the other. Is this unusual? We don't sail til Feb. but I thought we'd both get assigned at the same time. The cabins don't have to be together or even the same cat. so that is not the issue. I think I'll call Princess if I don't hear anything in a day or two. Has anyone else had this experience? this is the first time we have not bought assigned cabins right off the bat. It all depends on cabin availability and the category you booked. If one becomes available in the category you booked, it'll be assigned. If another isn't available until January, it'll be assigned then. Calling Princess won't speed up the process because they have no way of knowing when a cabin will become available. Usually, cabins are assigned by shortly after final payment date, but not always.
rockymo Posted October 31, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted October 31, 2010 Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. The assignment for the one cabin was a real upgrade, so I can't complain.
paul929207 Posted October 31, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2010 They do each cabin individually. The second could be done anytime until you get to the pier
