Goldygolfer Posted November 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Hi everyone - We are scheduled to be in Bodrum for one day - 10am to 10pm later this month. This is a port which we have not visited before and would appreciate advice re the "must sees", "must dos", etc. Should we be looking to book a tour perhaps, or it is an easy DIY port ? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
maryann ns Posted November 5, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Bodrum is a fabulous do it yourself port and was one of my favourites on our incredible cruise last year. Goldygolfer Posted November 5, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Thank you very much Maryann for your very prompt reply. I had tried the search function before posting my request, but somehow missed these threads. I have now had a look at all three and have found them very helpful. Thank you. I notice that you were on the Azamara Quest in November last. We are doing a 31-day Istanbul to Singapore on the Quest in a little over 2 weeks. Really looking forward to it. Rare TLCOhio Posted November 13, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 13, 2010 Hi everyone - We are scheduled to be in Bodrum for one day - 10am to 10pm later this month. This is a port which we have not visited before and would appreciate advice re the "must sees", "must dos", etc. Should we be looking to book a tour perhaps, or it is an easy DIY port ? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Below are some visual samples and ideas for this wonderful and charming port of Bodrum. The main castle is very interesting and a must-do. It has "all of it" with its castle/fortress aspect, plus its gardens, museum, wildlife, etc. Lots there to see and experience. THANKS! Enjoy!
