We have sailed with him many times and he has a great sense of humour.

Plus i thought he had retired, so glad to see him back.

I have found Captain Wright to be a very guest oriented Captain. I also thought that he had retired. Plans changed? Anyone know?

Captain Wright was captain of QE2 for several years and was quite popular. He is very relaxed, has a great sense of humor and is a very professional sailor.

Very good news. We sailed with on the highly emotional September 10 2001 crossing and he was more than outstanding. How long does such a QM2 posting usually last? Any chance that we'll be sailing with him next May?

We are briefly on land for today only while QM2 visits Cherbourg - thanks goodness we will have a break from Coomodore Warners interminable announcements, he is soooo slow talking.

Anyway back on tomorrow, glad we read CC today.

QM2 is his ship, he is just going on leave and will return next year. Captain Wright appears to be covering for his leave now Captain Bates has left Cunard.
