Things you must try:

1) Lobster bisque

2) stuffed mushrooms

3) all the 'hot soups' are excellent

4) lobster/shrimp on elegant night

5) ...and of course warm chocolate melting cake for dessert! (order a fruit plate on the side and you can dip it in the chocolate for your own private chocolate fondue) :D

You can check out some of the menus and food porn here:

Last month on the Freedom, one night they had grilled filet mignon, served upon some of the beef short ribs. It was fantastic. I also love the beef short ribs ( no bone ) entree, but I love filet mignon too, so this way I get both! That is my new favorite Carnival dinner entree. But I have lots of other's hovering close to favorite!:)

Rack of Ribs! Love the corn on the cob on the stick that comes with it. My favorite!!

The ribs, in my opinion are a must! Never thought to try them until this past cruise. I was surprised at how good they were - and how much! Definitely no room for desert that night!!!

Other "must trys":

Prime Rib, Flat Iron Steak

Stuffed Mushrooms, Caesar Salad (Traditional w/ Anchovies so beware if you don't like them)

Onion Soup, Chilled Strawberry Soup

Bitter n Blanc (I like better than choc melting cake)

We were just on the legend a few months ago. Strangely enough, my favorite entree was the tilapia dish. It was fantastic! Really, really good. I actually found the desserts, with the exception of the choc melting cake, to be pretty average. But, I'm not big on desserts so that didn't bother me.

Oh,what a great idea about the fruit plate+choco melting cake. Will have to remember that...;)I love just about everything they put in front of me. I have never in my life had a rib, but everything else has been perfecto! :D I like the ceasar salad too,and that little rice thingy that comes as a side sometimes...it has mushrooms in it, I think. I just LOVE that...don't know what it's called...

As for the chocolate melting cake/fruit idea - glad everyone likes it - but I can't take the credit - i actually read this somewhere on another CC thread - and tried it on my last cruise - DIVINE!!! :D:D

I can't believe I never tried fruit and Choc melting cake in just a couple of weeks this will be my favorite. Don't have deserts at home so they are all my favorite. Also the cold soups, rasberrry and the orange one. They are just simply devine. Honestly if we don't have to do the cooking, serving, and the cleaning up afterwards isn't it a favorite? I'm just saying......
