starstruck05 Posted November 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2010 I've been checking for price drop rates for my upcoming cruise and for the heck of it I tired IL to see if they had resident rates (my best friend and cruise partner lives in Chicago) Interesting enough the rate for an ocean view using resident rate is the exact price we paid for our inside. So my question is since I'm the main person on the booking does it have to be my state (LA) or can it be hers? Meaning can I call up and ask for an upgrade to an OV even tho its her thats the resident. I kind of want to do this as a surprise for her. starstruck05 Posted November 6, 2010 Author #2 Share Posted November 6, 2010 nvm got my answer trying to book. incase anyone wants to know its as I thought, at least one person in the room has to be the resident of that state. I realize its s dumb question now lol.

firefly333 Posted November 6, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2010 All rates, just need one person in the cabin to qualify. ... senior rate too. Only one person has to be a senior. (I see this question more often posed about that rate.)
