Wecruise8 Posted November 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2010 I've just redone ours and it says 83 days, 10 hours, etc. As we sail on a Sunday at 5 PM and it's 2:15 PM now (Sunday) something seems off. What time zone is the clock from?

You can change this in the CC Control Panel...
caribill Posted November 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2010 I could be wrong, but my guess is it looks at the time in your computer and calculates from there. I doubt it cares about what time the ship actually departs, but has some end time for everyone on the day of the cruise.
joybook Posted November 8, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2010 My laptop has just been in for servicing/repairs for a week and I had a similar problem when it came back - the cruise clock was about 75 days out of whack then I realised the clock dated back to August some time. The date and time on my laptop needed re-setting. Maybe this will help.:)
cherylandtk Posted November 8, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 8, 2010 IIRC, the CC countdown clock does not count the actual hours until sailing, just the hours until the day of sailing. So the change occurs at midnight. You only enter the day of sailing, not the time, when setting up the clock.
