Recommended Posts

Looking to book Liberty mid April next year doing the Riveria , Leaving from Barcelona , the children will want to spend a lot of time in the pool and i am wondering if the pools are heated if the weather isnt very good . has anyone experianced cold swimming pools on their cruise ?

We were just on Liberty in Sept and some pools were really cold and some were just normal. We were in the hot tub for a couple min but the adult area has a really deep pool (I think it was a little over 6 feet) so we had more fun in that one and it was not cold at all. So I would say that the majority of them are not too cold just cool.

I can't speak for Liberty specifically but I think it is the same as the Voyager class ships that I have been on. They used sea water for the pools and yes there were times where is was quite chilly. Hot-tubs are obviously heated but I don't think the pools are.
