RedskinsCruiser2010 Posted November 8, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2010 We were just on Liberty in Sept and some pools were really cold and some were just normal. We were in the hot tub for a couple min but the adult area has a really deep pool (I think it was a little over 6 feet) so we had more fun in that one and it was not cold at all. So I would say that the majority of them are not too cold just cool.
koxler Posted November 8, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2010 I can't speak for Liberty specifically but I think it is the same as the Voyager class ships that I have been on. They used sea water for the pools and yes there were times where is was quite chilly. Hot-tubs are obviously heated but I don't think the pools are. cb at sea Posted November 8, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2010 None of the swimming pools are "heated", except by the sun. If it's hot, the water will warm up quickly...but it will depend on the weather!
grannywhit57 Posted November 9, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 9, 2010 We just got returned from sailing on the Liberty yesterday and indeed the water was pretty chilly, at least it wasn't salty!
