melmar02 Posted November 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2010 Since TX has a strict limit on the amount of alcohol TX residents can bring back, what happens if you have leftover wine from a wine package? Is some sort of exception made because it was pre-purchased and not bought on the trip? Thanks!
firefly333 Posted November 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2010 They can tell if it was bought on the ship or from TX from the stamp or something, but Id just not mention it since customs form only asks what you bought out of the country. Put it in your suitcase and forgetaboutit.

He was just waving people through that had more than the limit!
firefly333 Posted November 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2010 Im rereading this and at first thought the OP might be paying for the package BEFORE they cruised .. if they bought the wine onboard, it would be subject. That being said they usually only want to know about liquor, not about wine.
